Mosaic Research Grant

The Mosaic Research Grant supports up to five faculty-led research projects related to IU classroom spaces in the amount of $2,000. Selected projects will contribute to the understanding of the role that classroom environments play in teaching and learning at Indiana University and result in a publication. Awardees will meet with Mosaic Staff and other 2018 awardees as part of the Grant.


In support of their work, grant awardees receive:

  • A $2,000 stipend paid into a research account
  • Personalized support from Mosaic staff for all parts of the research and publication process
  • Engagement with other grant awardees involved in research on IU classrooms
  • Meet twice in an academic year to advise ongoing UITS Learning Technologies-led research projects at Indiana University

Eligibility requirements

Mosaic Research grant awardees must meet the following requirements:

  • Be Senior Mosaic Fellows (faculty who have completed the Mosaic Faculty Fellows program)
  • Be able to participate in scheduled meetings with other Mosaic Grant winners
  • Be able to meet with Mosaic Staff about their project
